STEERING COMMITTEE
The steering committee for JEIS is comprised of voluntarily participating Member States, currently led by Greece. Its primary role is to provide strategic oversight and decision-making for the project’s overall functions. This includes managing logistics and overseeing budgetary allocations to ensure fiscal responsibility. A core function is the approval of course planning, ensuring that training in Intelligence-related disciplines meet the evolving requirements of EU Intelligence services. Additionally, the committee governs vital collaborations with external entities, active in the Security and Intelligence domains, to foster a unified EU Intelligence culture. Utterly, the committee ensures that JEIS remains aligned with EU capability priorities, effectively translating a “unity of purpose” into “unity in action” for successful military and civil missions.
